September 27th.

I haven't posted a blog post in about 2 months, which means a lot has happened since my last post!!
My beautiful Fiance left for boot camp on September 27th. I guess you could say until that day I never really processed that he was actually really leaving, that I would not see those mesmerizing eyes for 2 whole months, or see his smile that melts my heart or I wouldn't get to hear his voice, but a five minute phone conversation. That morning I walked in the Mmilitary processing station, it hit me! As soon as I saw his face, I broke down. Dylan leaving has taught me a few things, not just on our relationship, but also on life. It taught me what patience is, what it feels like to really miss someone, not to take someone for granted, and also, the time we spend together should be cherished. I love my Sailor, and I am so proud to be apart of this journey.

It was our one year anniversary

July 4, 2011 celebrates one year my Fiance and I have been together. Can you say AHW!
One of the best decisions, if not the best decision of my life...

We took many weeks to figure out what we wanted to do for our anniversary!! We wanted it to be very special. So... we decided to go to Mackinaw city. SOO BEAUTIFUL :)
We packed up Monday morning and headed up north.  <3 We spent the whole day walking downtown buying fudge and treats and souvenirs!! We had the most romantic dinner at the Dixie Saloon. I am so blessed to be loved by the man of my dreams.

Here are some pictures from our trip! <3

We went to the ZOO

What a great way to spend a saturday afternoon. There is nothing better than getting up and knowing Im going to be with my sweet, caring, beautiful Fiance all day long. Yesterday, was suppose to be our senior prom, but since were getting married this next year, we decided not to go, and instead do something we have never done together before. Why we didn't want to go to our SENIOR PROM you ask? Because I want to save the day where we get all fancy and beautiful, and dance for our wedding day. Which is less than a year away :)
Have I ever told you, I love animals. I have always had such a passion!! Here are a few pictures from our trip.

Beautiful brown bear

Dylan & I enjoying a beautiful day at the zoo. Poor baby, got burnt. :/

After waiting for about ten minutes, this tiger jumped about 10 feet up to his territory.
Look at how beautiful this Tiger is!

Another wait...

Meps, gotta love em'!!
Meps is where you go when you take your ASVAB, your physical test, pick your Navy career and swear in.
Well, this pass Wednesday, I drove down to watch Dylan, swear into the Navy. I arrived at 9 am in hopes of watching my incredible man commit to something so wonderful and gracious.
I had went to a couple of stores the night before in hopes of picking out the cutest, but manly man shirt for Dylan to wear, when he swears in. I found the perfect one! I wrapped the shirt up with red white and blue tissue paper, I bought some red roses, one of those little American flags you put in your lawn, and a white star balloon. It turned out to be the cutest little gift bag ever!! Anyway, when I arrived to Meps, I had patiently waited for Dylan, to finish his weigh in. As I was waiting, of course I had to use the restroom, as I went up to ask the soldier at the front desk, I overheard him talking. This guy was going through a list of people, telling them if they were in or not. Every single person he had listed, accept two, was disqualified. Wither, it had something to do with to many school suspensions, or a skin disease, or couldn't do the duck walk, almost every person got disqualified. The Navy is strict! But when they said Cantrell, I put my fist in the air and said whoop whoop. (He was not disqualified)
As Dylan, finally, came out and sat with me for a little bit, they had announced that there was a flood in Tennessee, and it would be awhile before they could buy any jobs. Tennessee is where they base the buying of the jobs out of, so pretty much every state is calling Tennessee at once, you could said its kind of like competing. As that day went by, they finally told us we could leave, but we will have to come back in May, and my sailor will be offered a job.
